LIGHTING THE FRAME 0%

Imagination is the first door.

We open the rest.

Bringingworldstolight,framebyframe.

We are an animation studio that treats every frame like a doorway. Story first, light always, and no world left dark.

Worlds we’ve lit

Four worlds we’re building. Each began as a single frame in the dark.

A vast glowing canyon world
Wick, the LightFrame explorer: a boy with oversized goggles and a canvas backpack

Meet Wick.

Our explorer, our first audience, and the little voice in every review that asks: but what's behind that door?

Wick walks into every world we build before you do. If his goggles fog up, we know it's good.

How worlds get lit

Frame by frame

  • Story

Every world starts as a question worth following into the dark.

  • Design

Characters, places, and props are drawn until they feel found, not made.

  • Motion

Performance is built one frame at a time, by hand, at 24 a second.

  • Light

The last pass is the first thing you feel: where the light comes from.

The studio

A new studio, built to explore.

LightFrame opened in 2026 to make original animated films: our own worlds, our own characters, and stories told one frame at a time. Our first production, Max Tries His Best, is in the works now.
